Edwin S. Epstein, M.D., F.A.C.S., A.B.H.R.S.- Virginia Beach
Edwin S. Epstein, M.D., brought to Bosley an impressive background in the medical field. Bosley Virginia Beach is proud to have him in its medical staff, to share his expertise.
Dr. Epstein earned his B.A. degree from Duke University and his M.D. from Georgetown University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After 13 years in private practice, he joined the Chambers Hair Institute in 1990 in Baltimore and Richmond. In 1995, he founded the Stuart Medical Group, and served as the Medical Director there, until he joined Bosley in 2006.
Dr. Epstein has been practicing hair restoration since 1990. He has served on the Board of Governors of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS) since 2004, and was elected President for 2009-2010. He has lectured nationally and internationally on numerous topics related to hair loss and hair restoration surgery.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, has served as a board examiner, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been on the Hair Loss Advisory Board of Merck and Co, and is a member of the Medical Society of Virginia.
He is licensed to practice medicine in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, and California.
